Split Door Knob
Materials: English walnut, China Ink, Wax Blend
Year: 2026
The split knob is made from English walnut sourced, felled, and worked in London. Made entirely by hand, it is shaped using methods that allow the timber's natural structure and texture to remain visible. Each piece retains small variations that arise naturally from the walnut and the act of making. Black china ink is worked into the surface to emphasise depth and grain, before a proprietary hard wax varnish is applied to protect the finish.
