The She Oak High Chair was made using timber salvaged in the wake of Cyclone Alfred in northern New South Wales. The log that became the three legs was found deep in the bush and required a 1 hour hike out with the heavy section. Its three legs are split from a single she oak log, their natural twists revealed as the timber was worked. The seat is cut from Pinus elliottii, an invasive to our region yellow pine brought down during the same storm.
